Stolen Lives is the incredible story of the only death sentenced, cop killer accused, exonerated and married couple in the world – Sunny Jacobs and Peter Pringle. They have dedicated their lives to helping other exonerees.

The film tells their by turns tragic and triumphant life stories from a deeply human perspective. We hear in Sunny and Peter’s own words how their lives – revealed in all their complexities and contradictions – unfolded to the point where they were each convicted of a capital crime they did not commit. 

The film was produced by Irish based bangbangteo, an independent documentary production company that is committed to telling compelling cultural and human stories and giving expression to a wide range of local and international issues. Award-winning artist and filmmaker Mark McLoughlin spearheaded this project as the director.

Through bangbangteo's partnership with Sacred Heart University, I joined this project as a cameraman and sound technician. I was part of the production team for the US shoot, filming b-roll and recording interview audio. Part of my role was as a web designer, creating the official website for Stolen Lives in the lead to its official debut at the Galway Film Fleadh.​
